Quality Manager Apparel (f/m)Today consumers are more informed and sophisticated than ever before. Our challenge is to meet and exceed our consumer’s quality requirements constantly, simultaneously identify their future needs and provide them with appropriate solutions.
In your role as Quality Manager you shall ensure the implementation and further development of our quality standards. You will focus on the production processes, especially on the workmanship, the reliability of production; you will execute quality checks in line, have a close eye on product labeling; and be the contact person of all quality issues.
You will regularly visit our production plants, lead our quality engineers in Asia and work closely with our design and product development departments.
Your qualitative and quantitative analyses, such as supplier evaluations, analysis of quality costs, regular claim reports, will provide the information base for strategic business decisions.
For this position we are looking for an ambitious clothing engineer with perennial professional experience (5 years), whereas at least 2 years in a similar position (Quality Manager), preferably in the sports and outdoor clothing sector.
Furthermore, the ideal candidate should have a strong analytical and problem-solving attitude and very good communication and negotiations skills. The candidate must have experience with statistics and quality management systems and have an independent, well-structured and goal-oriented working style.
High willingness to travel and strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required. Place of work is our international headquarter in Bolzano (South Tyrol) – Italy.
